Hey Toxic,

Last October my home town took a pretty good lick from Lilli. We are about 60 to 80 miles north of the gulf of mexico and we had sustained 130 mph winds, with gust higher than that. Before lili hit there were some people bording up windows and such and I remember thinking thats crazy! About half way through the storm when branches and trees and shingles were flying everywhere I didn't think it was so crazy. Especially when holding my 3 month old daughter through it all. I don't ever want to go through that again.

Good Luck and Hunker down,

I was in a typhoon when I was stationed in Guam. I never imagined how much rain could come from the sky. TRUE STORY: It was raining so hard that the gnats would swarm into the car when you opened the door. I couldn't imagine how they flew through rain that heavy but I suppose in their world a raindrop is a pretty big object to avoid. Wearing full raingear PLUS a poncho I was soaked to the underwear just going from the car to the barraks.

Good luck to all of you guys that are getting hit by this thing.

Still have power at 9:15 pm in Rockville, but I will be going down to check out the house at Lake Anna on Friday or Saturday. Guess I will bring the chainsaw with me incase my shed with the other chainsaw is under a tree. Anybody know how much the lake will rise? Another day off from the Feds tomorrow. Think I will need it to cut up some trees on neighbor's properties.

have a safe trip Tox.

Tox,

Call me at work today please. I e-mailed you but didn't hear back. My work # is (518) 324-5625 ex 17. I didn't get to mail the charger because by the time I found it, I thought you guys were heading out in a day or two. I will come over and install it that first night you guys arrive, for your buddy and give him the shipping portion back. Tell him I apologize, but if you saw the mess of boxes in my garage and house, you would understand.
