Red, yellow, blue, green, stop it! Don't touch me. You started it! LOL I'm losing my MIND!!! OK, went to pick up my boat on Friday, paid $3200 for the rebuild. Hook it up, gave it a good once over, and WOW, they completely chewed up the brand new cupping on my prop, $200!!!! After a little communication with the owner, they promised to pay the charges of repair, as their shop would take another 2 weeks?, to repair. FINE! So I agree to have my prop guy do it, and back charge them. On my way, sunny day with my boy riding co-pilot before his big 4 year birthday. "Why are those guys morogs (morons) daddy?". "Dunno buddy, they don't know the difference between the sound of a rich engine popping and SS SCRAPING the $%&* ramp!" I didn't really say that, but it was what I was thinking! OK, Saturday morning, all gassed up, charged up and ready to meet Buzz for some dynamic action. Winds pick up out of the west at about 30 MPH!!! This is what they call breezy? Meet Buzz at the ramp and he hands me 2 brand new St Croix pitching rods! What a guy! We talk about our family, now no punn intended towards Buzz''s age, but this is the kind of guy I always WANTED as a dad! We had a great time in the mouth boating probably 30 bass in a couple of hours. I figure, we can't go to VT as the waves there will probably be about 4 footers and I haven't diagnosed the leak in my boat yet. OK no prob, we'll just go to the little Chazy river and hide from the wind there. Jamey can attest, this is a jig fishermans fantasy spot! Fire up my brand new, rebuilt, spiffy, shinny GT 150, she smokes, sputters, starts to purr and then EEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Overheat alarm! %$&*#$@$^&*^#$$%%#@$$^#!!!!!!!!! I tell Buzz, when you own a bassboat, expect a rebuild at least once, but now this? 2 more attempts and the same thing. Well, we finished out our morning and had a blast. Aside from the cold, wind, and bad motor, the company was great, fish were cooperative, and HEALTHY! To finish up, good thing I had put the break in oil in the gas, because the brand new VRO pump was bad. I'll have it back Friday and have to guide 3 days after that in a row, no time for foul ups now. I can't even trade my clients off to other guides now as the date is too close and all my buddies are all ready booked up. Plus some of them helped my out already the last 2 weeks taking my trips. (they get paid well) And NOW, we have 3 INCHES of snow coming tonight! AAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! The fever is back and worse than ever! HELP me!!! Please help me! LOL

Talk about insanity..... You know, Rob, I'm old enough to be your father, too..... Guess we both lucked out on that one!

Who did your rebuild?

me!

Did you say 3 Inches of SNOW Rob?? in MAY?? that is INSANITY!

Dang man, sorry to hear bout the prop and the motor problem, I keep telling you i'll trade you my sweet running 40hp for the 150!

Keep a stiff upper lip, man and luck can only get better!

Scott, it was Northland Boat shop in North Hero VT. They are supposed to have the best OMC tech for a hundred miles. Well he didn't test run a rebuilt engine? Hmmm, sounds funny to me.

Trep, yeah 3 more stinkin inches of snow. We need the water, but I prefer rain. This is enough to drive you to drink, or make a grown man cry!

I keep telling every political party that cold calls my house, i'll vote for your candidates WHEN they all sign up to sell every inch of the continental US that is above the hard freeze line to Canada. THEN and ONLY then will we truly have a 365 day per year fishing country! LOL

For the love of Pete is there ANY stinkin dealer within 100 miles that is trustworthy, honest, knowledgable and somewhat dependable time wise? I give up! Man everyone of these yahoos around here doesn't know squat except how to try to pull one over on you. I feel bad for all the unsuspecting souls that don't know any better and get the royal treatment. Where's dateline or 20/20 when you need them? The fleecing of America HAH! It's right here in the marine industry! Neeley, I'm coming out with my boat, have the boys ready, and Mac's bay clear when I get there! Mac, you got YOUR boat back right?

Rob,

If you want to drive to Canada, I can get it done...right. Plus with the exchange it will cost you less.

Pierre

Thanks Pierre, but it's already there. If they don't get it right, I'll stop payment on the check! I ain't foolin' no more!

Hey Rob...Update? Do I need to arrange an "airstike"? You know get your boat out and then we do a strafing run...

Greg

Supposed to be done by Friday afternoon. Please begin collections for bail money in the event it isn't or worse if they let me leave and it acts up again on Saturday with clients in the boat! It's in the big man's hands now. Out of my control, which is good, because I would likely strangle somebody! LOL Still have to get the prop fixed next week though, once it's broke in.
