Ihave a 2004 288f/s and i have noticed since it was new that there is something inside the steering wheel itself that sounds like a penny or washer moveing around and the steering has gotten a squeaky noise big time.I've pulled on the wheel to make sure its not the nut or something but it is tight.Does anyone know if the nitro emblem pops out or if its glued? Its time to tear into it to see what is going on inside.Any advice would be helpful ,THANX.

The nitro emblem does pop off carefuly work it around. There are 3 screws holding the seal cover on one probably fell off. You will need a wheel puller. At least thats how it works on my 1996 896 with the sea star unit. Good Luck
