Stabil fuel additive question

Hi all! Got a question for ya. I filled up my boat mid July. The tank holds around 22 gallons of fuel. I now have about half a tank of fuel left. My question is, is it too late to add stabil. The directions on the bottle say that fuel usually starts to go bad after 60 days. Should I just go ahead and drain all the fuel out and start over? Or will adding Stabil be okay. Thanks for the help.

You should be ok. Add the amount for a full tank then fill the tank.

I think a key thing to do at this point is make sure you run the engine long enough to get the fresh gas and stabil up into the carbs...

does it matter if you switch or mix different brands of fuel stabil? can't see why it would make any difference?
