Anyone ever been there? We are having a family reunion there in July. We rented 3 houses on the beach. Of course all I can think about is charting some fishing while I am there. Any suggestions?
I am not 100% sure, but it sounds familiar, I think that area is near Fernindina and Amelia Island, if it is, there is great redfish and trout fishing.
Not to ruin your vacation, but i was near there last year and you could not go in the water because of the under tow and some bacteria in the water. But the fishing is good. Good time of the year for tarpon and snook. If you want to go off shore, the big grouper should be close to shore and maybe a cubanara(mispelled) its looks kinda lika a big grouper with huge teeth. You should be able to catch small 2-3lb snook from the beach in rip areas.
