Someone posted they had somehow gotten the front foredeck non-slip black tread stuff off of their Tracker and then masked it off so they could spray on truck bedliner, I think. My question is, why should I go to all the trouble to get that black tread off if I could just clean it good and spray the liner right over it? All I have are three or four slashes where some dummy turned the trolling motor on while it was still in the stowed position (can't imagine who did that!).

The tread stuff is really glued down so I'm thinking it would be a lot of hassle to get it down to clean aluminum.

Jack, I guess that was me who sprayed on the bedliner. In my case, the non-skid had been damaged by a fire and it had to come off. I would think if yours isn't peeling or severely damaged then you could spray the bed liner over it. Hutch
