I just purchased Merc's SC1000 System Tach/Speedometer duo off of eBay, but the catch is, they come with no cables. I'm running a 2003 Optimax 150. Do I just need the single data cable (part #879982T25) that is listed on Mercury's website under the SC1000 System? And most importantly, is this something I can do myself? I've been told it is pretty much plug-and-play, but never having done this before, I'm not sure what all I need to disconnect from the motor, or where to plug-in the new guages. Thanks all for you're help.

Hehe, sorry David. I had just lost another SmartCraft auction for a whole scad of speedos, cables, parts, etc. and eBay sent me an e-mail listing some similar auctions. I saw it and figured I better jump on it quick.
