Okay, I know this is a Nitro/Tracker kinda site but I have to ask. What about Skeeter's? (the boats, not the insects)

There is a dealer out here that (obviously because that is what he carries) is really pushing them.

It has been rumored that one of our Members has gone to Skeeter's Pro Team..... And yet another to Ranger..... If you have another brand boat when you join; that's ok 'cuz you didn't know any better..... But to switch brands after..... We are reluctantly allowing them to remain as Members only because they have contributed so very much to the board since it's very inception..... And the fact that we get such a big kick out of all the people who come to the board and think that Mini and Mac are married!

me!

P.S. Skeeters are Mighty Fine Boats! If I were in the market, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to buy one!

Have to agree with Scott, Skeeter makes a mighty fine boat. All the guys I've talked to who own them are very pleased with their boats. You get what pleases you, not what pleases somebody else. The dealer that services you and takes care of you is more important than make or model of boat.

To me, the choice of what boat to buy depends 1st on the dealer, since they are the middle man for price, warrenty/repairs, and upgrades. Then it comes to size and style, many boats look nearly the same these days, but there are subtle differences that can really make a boat what you want.

As they said, most boat makers with a well known name are turning out good products, and Skeeter has really come up as a larger company in the last few years.
