As you know I am still on a boat search. Getting ready to look at another boat that may need carpet work. How much would one expect to pay to have 19' foot boat redone. When you had yours redone did you order the carpet somewhere or where you had it done have it? How long was your boat down having it done? Any recommendations on where to have it done? Thanks Clark

When I did mine, I 'split' the work with him...

He charged me less because I took him the boat with all the lids and carpet removed, and I had to re-install the lids/accessories afterwards.

He charged me 175$ for his part, and I ordered the carpet from Cabela's.

I think he quoted me $350 if he had done all of it. (Plus the cost of the carpet).

It took me a couple of hours to strip it down, and a couple hours to put it back together, and he had the boat for a day and a half to put the new carpet down.

His name is Doug Meyer, of Meyer Boat Works... and I would highly recomend him.
