Anyone have knowledge, experience, input etc on Shore Lander Trailers. Im asking because the insurance company "totalled" my Tracker trailer. Its gonna take 6 to 10 weeks to get a new one from Tracker. However, I can get a Shore Lander in about 10 days.....

Any help ??

Will it "fit" your boat correctly? Is it of equal value or greater than your totaled one? Just some thoughts that would cross my mind.

Thanks Tee,

Waterwings- Those were my first questions also. My dealer called the Shorelander dealer, described the bost-length, beam width etc and he said he had one to fit it. The dealer says he's replaced Tracker trailers with the shore landers before, and his customers have had no complaints about them. Price is almost identical, the big plus would be not having to wait for one from Tracker.

I had a Shorelander for about 12 yrs, never had any problems with it.

ken,

Construction...is it made with fully enclosed tubes or open channel (angle iron). Tubes like to hold water and rust.

TOXIC

I know Shorelander is made in Iowa I think. That makes em gold IMO! What you gonna do about the boat Ken?

Fatrap

The bost suffered what appears to be cosmetic damage. After MUCH accident reconstruction on my part I am fairly confident that the damage done to the boat was done by the rear view mirror of the striking vehicle. The striking vehicle apparently struck the trailer with its left front end. After taking measurements of both the damamge to the boat and the other vehicle that's my conclusion. However,I wont be able to rule everything else out until I get it in the water.>
