Does anyone have a good way to service the trolling motor battery which lies fore of the cranking battery and back under the deck om my 2003 PT 175? I tried a mirrow and a kitchen syringe (borrowed from my wife)but felt this was a very inefficient method. The service manager at Tracker agreed that this battery placement must have been designed by an Aggie engineer, but since my daughter graduated from Texas A&M I had better not say too much.

I got a 1999 185 with the same problem and for 5yrs there is only one way. YOU PULL THEM. If you figure something out let me know, I ain't getting any younger.

The best I can come up with is to just unstrap it and pull it into the empty area between the two batteries without un-hooking the cables. You can then pour distiled water all over the top of the battery in hopes of getting some in it.
