CAN MUSLIMS BE GOOD AMERICANS? This is certainly 'food-for-thought'. This is very interesting and we all need to read it from start to finish. And send it on to everyone. Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities.

Can a good Muslim be a good American?

This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years.

The following is his reply:

Theologically - no. . . . Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon god of Arabia.

Religiously - no. . . Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam. (Quran, 2:256)(Koran)

Scripturally - no. . . Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.

Geographically - no. . Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially - no. . . Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically - no. . Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically - no. . . Because he is instructed to marry four Women, beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34 )

Intellectually - no. . Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically - no. . Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually - no. . Because when we declare 'one nation under God,' The Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran's 99 excellent names.

Therefore, after much study and deliberation.... Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both 'good' Muslims and good Americans. Call it what you wish it's still the truth. You had better believe it. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future.

The religious war is bigger than we know or understand. ....

Footnote: The Muslims have said they will destroy us from within. SO FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.

THE MARINES WANT THIS TO ROLL ALL OVER THE U.S.

I've read the Koran, had to for a "Religions of the World" class in college, and that Pretty much sums it up.

That hits it right on the head from everything I have read while I was down Ken! Trust me, I was NOT brought up that way but from what I have learned in the last ten years or so has convinced me this is as straight thinking as I deserve...

Come on folks. Ancient religious books say a lot of things that don't make sense in modern context. The Old Testament is full God-commanded genocide, infanticide, slavery and other unsavory acts.

Are people who revere the books of the Old Testament not capable of being good Americans?

Good answer Rich! ;) We don't have to like a particular religion, but as Americans we are expected to allow each their own, barring any violation of civil law. I'm not a fan of the Islamic extremists nor ANY terrorists, but I've known some very good Muslims I've trusted my life with. FWIW

Yeah I also work with them, and one being my boss. Kinda sucks havin to hear this stuff

I like to believe that it's the "actions" of said individual's that determins their true belief's and character. I don't think every Muslim is bad or cannot be a good "American". I also think the orbsatchel's at the Westboro Babtist Church are BOTH; bad american's AND non-christian hypocrites!!

I'd rather have a peaceful muslim living next door to me than one of those Westboro sphinkters!!

AMEN Mac, i could not have put it any better.

I have a good friend that is Muslim and he is one of the most kind and caring and patriotic people i know(yes he is and american citizen and he was also in the US Army) and is a great American. He is a good man that im am proud to call my friend, his religion is irrevelent in my eyes.

We all have our beliefs the Koran is fairly recent as far as religious dogma is concerned My concern is the groups that are acting on teachings of Islam.
