Scratches on bottom of boat

I have a black bottom on my 700 LX and it has some small scratches from beaching it that are white. Can I take some black paint and cover these scratches or will it affect the fiberglass? Is there any way I can cover these white scratches?

The paint will work fine, I would reccomend like a modelers enamel.
