James Doohan "Scotty" from "Star Trek" fame died today at age 85.

Sad to see him go.

I saw the very first episode of Start Trek..... I was a Junior in High School (1966). We were having a going away party for Joe V's parents on the evening of All Saints Day - the day after his parents left on vacation. I rode with Tom R. in his Corvair carrying the 2 bottles of Jim Beam Tom had liberated from his father's liquor cabinet. I watched Star Trek; Tom spent most of the night hanging his head in the toilet.....
