Saw My 1st Avalanche

Ok so I'm workin a bank in a narrow feeder river to my lacal lake and I hear someone blastin up river so I'm getting ready to tie myself to the bike seat when around the bend come a brand new red Avalanche and to my surprise he drops off plane and idles past me. Now we're given each other the once over and I said thanks for not swamping me. He says "nice boat".... so I said ...."nice boat" as he moved further away I just couldn't help myself, I yelled...



"YEAH BUT DEM BASSUS JUST LUUUUV SPARKLES"!



He looked at me like I was from outer space LOL!!

Ha, Ha, Carlos, He wasn't fishing and I wasn't going to tell the rest of the story but.........I took my wife and 5 year old daughter out because the little one was bugging me to go crappie fishing. She got bored and was laying on the back deck doodling in a coloring book and my wife was reading a book when this guy went past. After I yelled the famous Neeley greeting, I looked down and realized that I was standing there holding my daughter's 2 ft. purple Scooby-Doo rod, rigged with a bobber and a minnow. LOL!! Maybe that's why he gave me the look...... because EVERYBODY KNOWS "dem bassus just luvs sparkles"!!

ps. I instantly put her rod down, pulled anchor and began SERIOUS bassin'. He didn't come off plane when he came back down river either! LOL
