rod storage for pt 165

any one have a way store rods in a pt 165 they should call that thing a rod breaker. just wondering if any one has made a good organizer for this boat.

I know what you mean about the rod-breaker storage in the PT 165. I had a PT 165 and the second time I used the rod locker I broke the tip off a favorite rod. I wound up carrying my rods in the bed of my pickup. Now I have a PT 175 and I still usually carry my rods in the bed of the truck.



There are a couple of rod storage ideas in the Grab Bag (on the left of this page) under the STORAGE catagory.

I built one similar to the what's in the grab bag. I used golf club tubes and 1/4 peg board. It's simple and cheap.



You can also use toy box lid hardware for about $2.00 to hold the lids open.
