River help

I will be fishing a tournament on the Ohio river SE ohio

mid June.

Never river fished

Any suggestions on where to start

Look for anything that will give a current break...logs,rocks and even sandbars will have current breaks which is KEY on the Ohio. I have only fished it twice but, did real well with smaller cranks and spinnerbaits. Rattletraps shine there
