Rich, and members.

1)If, everyone decides to have the 2003 Rally at Ky. or Barkley lake, I will be happy to assist as we only live 45 minutes from either.

2)Scott, if you're out there, check in.

3) Sorry to see all of the negative threads on Nitro and Tracker service and rigging issues. I had a few minor issues also back in August of 2000 when I bought mine. I either diplomatically worked through the dealer or fixed it myself. I didn't hang my laundry out for everyone to see. As for the help and assistance on this board being questioned, leave. The best bunch of guys and gals in the boating and fishing venue.

Thanks Bruce. I think almost everyone here agrees with you. I am looking forward to a rally out there.

Bruce and all - I can make a Barkley lake rally, only 6 hours from my place. Assuming it doesn't conflict with the kids spring break.

Does KY have a bass Season? Or can you fish it all year round? I would think something late April early May, but you KY and TN folks can tell us the best time of spring to hit the BIG ones!

Trep:

There is no bass season in KY. The winter's have a little cold weather and snow and that gets the water temperature into the 30's. Bass fishing gets fairly active by mid March as the water begins to warm to the 40's and 50's. Non-resident licenses are fairly expensive @ $21 for 3 days.

Bear

Bear - WOW that is expensive, but to fish in the same waters as you guys, it's WORTH IT!

I'd be up for March or April!

Trep:

The one good thing about any of the lakes around here is in March and April only fishermen are out. A week or two before Labor Day starts all of the civilian boaters and jet skiers. Because of the boaters, clear water, and summer heat we resort to a lot night tournaments during the summer on Dale Hollow, Lake Cumberland, Kentucky Lake, etc.

Bear

Bear,

Roundtrip gas to Kentucky Lake: $250

+ Hotel

+ Food

$21 non-resident license is not a problem!!

I'd like to make it to a rally there. We might be able get a northeast caravan going.

I'll ring in for Kentucky also. very dooable from central Indiana.

Since I've already fished Cumberland before, I'd opt for Kentucky Lake. I'd make the drive if I can find a rider.

Heck, that sounds good to me, too!

And, Bruce, I'd be happy to help you in any way I could..... Like stayin' the heck outta your way! :^)

me!

Bassin fool,

I think I could bring myself to fish out of your Avalanche!! Sharing expenses/driving would make it feasable.

Bob G.

Bob, I know there's room in your truck for one more.

Bassn'fool, I know there's room in that Avalanche too.

Make sure you swing through NH and pick me up.

I don't care where next years Rally is, I'll try my hardest to make it. I'll go as a non-boater and fly Southwest if I have to.

Rob can come too, just don't let him drive. He can ride in the Avalanche on the way down and pretend he's driving it..LOL

We can do four in my crew-cab and rotate drivers. Maybe we can tow two boats. Imagine the truck and two boats/trailers in the hammer lane!! The 26 gallon gas tank is a bummer though. I'm used to long beds w/35 gallon tanks.

Marke, I'll swing down your way..

Bob G.

Hey! I got a few used trucks on my lot with bigger tanks..... Would dual 150's be ok?

You wouldn't need accomodations either - they got motel rooms built right into 'em!

Heck, we almost never see trailers, but I've got a 53' flatbed out there, too, that you could probably stack 7 or 8 boats on.....

:^)

me!

Scott,

I think you are on to something...A Rally Caravan Vehicle Boats on the flatbedd rotate drivers...we put a small hardtop camper on the front of the flatbed strap it down real good...stack the boats tilted up on an angle like the transports...Non stop in hours anywhere in the USA...

Scott,

Send me one of those bad boys!! Make it black with lots of chrome. Please top off the tanks before delivery! Thanks....
