Rich - Screen Name Protection?

Hey, Rich -



Is there any way that you can keep a screen name that is active from being duplicated?



Who in the world woulda thought that there would be so many "Scott's".....



Today, in the post "Another battery charger question. by damuniz, 4/24/2003", another "Scott" expressed an opinion very different from what I would have said and I definately don't want there to be any confusion..... Especially when I think so very highly of Sue and Guest Chargers.....

I too want to second that opinion... The world with two Scotts is scarey, but two of me would be a disaster of biblical proportion... And, a second Neeley...positively unthinkable!

Sorry, didn't mean to open Pandoras box with my reply to the battery charger question. Being new to the board I certainly didn't intend on stepping on anyone's toes (original Scott). In the member profile I didn't see an alias field, so I just changed my name. Good idea in not allowing duplicate names.

Worth doing, but unfortunately, it's not a simple change and I have a bunch of projects going at the moment. In the meantime, how about being posting as Scott M. or Scott Me!?

I agree this would be a nice change but to support Rich, that change would not be a simple quick fix for him to make (can anyone guess what field I work in).

Been busy the last few weeks, recovering from Vegas, and finally starting to fish, got a new personal best LM for me, something over 4 lbs, which easily beat my previous best, I posted a fishing report on it under "Illinois, Busse Lake"

Guessed I missed a troll or two, and some new Scotts?
