Despite being bits and bytes in cyberspace, some parts of this web site are akin to real life. How we interact in this forum is one of them. It's not possible for everyone to like everyone else, nor is it possible to agree with everything that another person says. However, since there are already so many places on the web that will gladly host tongue lashings between fellow anglers, I choose to run this place a little differently.
Here, we interact with mutual respect. If we disagree, we do so respectfully, without resorting to name calling. If we dislike someone's personality, we keep our less than supportive comments to ourselves. As long as no guidelines are broken, we can each enjoy whatever relationships and communication we choose to have here.
Winter is coming and cabin fever will set in. That means most of us run with slightly shorter fuses. A little extra self control is required. In this forum, our most valued commodity is civility. It separates us from the rest of the fishing/boating cyber-landscape. If you can abide by the simple guidelines that help maintain our respectful communication, you are welcome here. If you cannot, then please escort yourself out, before I have to help you in that direction.
