I was researching how various data centers and Internet Service Providers with gulf coast facilities were handling the disaster, and I came across a link to an amazing blog.
Background: The link below is the personal blog of a crises manager for a Internet data center company called Intercosmos. They are in a highrise in downtown New Orleans, and have been there since before Katrina hit.
The story is both demoralizing and uplifting. It's a birdseye view of New Orleans in crisis. Start by reading the August 28 page, and proceed on. It gets ugly after a couple of days.
