Nice Red! I caught the run before Halloween in New Orleans. I went for a dental convention then hung out with a buddy for a couple of days in Lafeete and loaded up a cooler of Trout and Reds. (Pics in My Library) Just one of the things I miss about living in S. FLA. (That and the weather!)

Most of the folks were from all over the states.. and the world! Not the most exciting convention for me, my wife's the dentist. However, the fishing makes a fantastic use of the time while the wife's learning the latest and greatest. The downtown/riverfront area is going through a much needed facelift and is becoming an incredibly hospitable place. A major improvement over the last ten years. With outstanding inshore fishing 15-20 min. from downtown, it was worth getting a timeshare as long as the airfare hangs at the $100 mark round trip. It drasticly shortens the ten hour drive to just over an hour in the air. I highly recomend a visit to the Big Easy! (Not so much the Big Sleazy anymore!)

Nawlin's is cool!! Been there 2-3 times and goin' back this summer for the 2003 B/Masters Classic. Can't wait to hang out on Bourbon St. again...went 2yrs ago with Larry and Emily Shaffer (All Star Rods) and we had a riot!! I'm sure we'll end up there again!! (Mini,..you gotta make sure Brown sends you to the Classic!!!) Emily is already talkin' about it!! LOL....It is a fun place to visit!!
