recirc. pump

Hello, my brotherinlaw has a 99 v16 tracker. The recirc. pump on the front livewell doesnt seem to have any power to it. The 3 position switch has manual off and auto. It works the fill pump in both positions but the front recirc pump does not come on? We ran power directly to it and it will come on. It is factory wired, but he does not think it has ever worked? I guess what I am asking, how or what makes it work? With only 1 switch which fills on auto and manual? HELP! THANX

Don't you have to pull something on the valve to recirc?

Hello, no cables or valves. The recirc pump is located directly to the side of the livewell,with inlet and outlet lines directly to the livewell.It is wired + - to same colored factory wires,but cannot trace them to see where they terminate?
