I can't imagine the New England and Canadian folks traveling all of the way to the mid-west for a rally. It's too far. That's the reason the mid-west guys didn't go up there. It's too far.

Our group is nationwide and it is going to be difficult to have one event that is convenient for everyone. Maybe we should have a poll and vote. We could see if the group wants to a)have a single rally at one lake or b)have several rally's on the same day at different lakes, or c)fly to Atlanta, camp in Trepper's back yard, and drink his home made beer all weekend.

my 2 cents

Bear, I think that's what we were coming to. Regional rallys. I'm for it. Not too fond of towing the old dust collector for more than 10 hours.

Sounds sort of sad to have regionals but that's what might have to happen. It will be hard to pull off three or four rallys but most of all it's a shame we all can't get together. Maybe we'll need a PRE-rally gathering at Trepper's and drink his beer.

Hey guys, just wait till July, i'll my latest batch of Irish Stout ready for drinking! Brewed it up with the help of the boys on Monday night, it's happily fermenting away. Bottle it up in 2 weeks and then 2 more in the bottle and she's ready to go!

Biggest batches to date where when Beka was pregnant with Eli, I did 3 seperate batches (2 cases each) so for the first few months I KNEW (from experience with Noah) that i'd be sleeping very little let alone have enough time to brew!

Right now got about a case each left of a India Pale Ale and a Nut Brown Ale.

Camping in the back yard works too! Just bring your swim suits for the Hot Tub at night! Wait, don't want John F and Scott in Thongs in MY HOT TUB!!! LOL

Actually.....it should be time to have one close to the man who started all this.....Georgia on my mind ??

Now your thinking Pierre! We get Dan J over at the Atlanta BPS to hook everyone up! Get BPS to fly Mac and Mini in for a promotional deal where we all get Hat's, Rod/Reels and they drive a new Avalanche out for us all to test drive!!!!

You all get to meet his family, maybe he'll bring the pontoon down from Hartwell (or heck, have it at Hartwell!)

Seriously I know Rich would love to make the next one, as would I!

Hey guys, how about a late fall or early spring get together without the boats and any fishing at say BPS in Springfield to just get to spend some time together. Maybe without having to tow the boats so far more of us would be interested in making the trip. Also we could all get to see " The Holy Land " in Springfield. Maybe rent a hall one night and just have a reception and a side trip to BPS the next day. Just a suggestion, what do you think ?
