Hard to believe but the rally is only 5 weeks away. I will attempt to resolve the room rate issue today. If any of you that have not signed up are planning to attend, please sign up so I can make arrangements with the Naked Turtle for dinner on Saturday. If you have any questions, don't wait. We want everyone to enjoy themselves and not have to run around, or get lost etc. I will be contacting Jordan again soon to see what he plans on doing while attending. Please if everyone can also let me know whether or not you will have a boat. We want to be sure everyone has a boat to fish from. I think that actually, we will have more boats than anglers which is good. In the event that someone cannot get a partner for Saturday, we may keep it a 5 fish per boat limit, that way guys can still fish it, if they elect to fish alone. You won't HAVE to team up with somebody if you don't want to. Please take neccessary steps and buy what you need for catch and release. I recomment chunk ice, not chips, a c&r formula or tablets, and be sure your livewells will be working properly and change the water as needed. The water should still be pretty cool that early so 2 times should be adequate. The locals watch these events to monitor impact on fish mortality so lets not dissappoint them OK? Again I recommend the Stonehelm as a place to stay, it's very close, convenient and easy to find, with a gas station across the road. And for those who show up late Friday night and don't know where the launch is, the Stonehelm is on my way and I will be stopping there early each morning to be sure everyone is up, and can follow me. Don't want anyone to miss out because of a bum alarm clock or missed wake up call. If you're hung over and don't answer(I won't mention any names) you're on your own! LOL
