Rally --- anyone need a GC for the Moores ?

As luck would have it, I may end up having to travel to VA later this week on bidness.



With this uncertainty, I have had to cancel my room at the KY lake rally.



If anyone wants it, I have a GC for 68.78 for the Moores, that I will let go for $60...

Hey SimNitro did youplay hookey and go fishing last Friday?? I thought I saw your rig pull out from the Hamburg exit south bound on my way to work. Then later that afternoon I passed the same rig north bound, on my way to Tennesse for my annual get together/fishing tourny, around Livingston. My guess is Cumberland?? Was that you?

Played hookey on thursday and went to Cumberland... Fished out of Connley bottom and had a fantastic day.



Wife and I caught about 15 LM/Spots, biggest being about 5# (caught by the wife).

Thats right it was Thursday Duh! I went to Douglas Lake in Tennesse. It sucked! Usually you can go there this time of year and catch 30 with no problem. I could only manage 5 or 6 each day. Toughest time I ever had there. Your boat is sharp... I like all those sparkles.

I've heard good things about Douglas Lake. One of these days... (I say that alot these days) I'll get there too... that one and cherokee are on my list. Went to Watts Bar a couple of years back, had a good time there but missed the "good" window by a few days.



Too many lakes, not enough time...



Alot of people reported tough times fishing thursday, especially as compared to tuesday/wednesday... but we had a good time. Maybe it was the moon? I know the cold snap hurt things a bit.

We fished Friday - Sunday and man it was tough. The water was down 20 from what it was last year. Also I thought of myself being a half way decent fisherman. But after almost blanking Sat and Sunday and seeing what the local tourny's cought on Sat. gave me a big reality check. There were about 8 of us that felt the same way. This is a lake I usually fish 2 or 3 times a year with pretty good luck. Mark Davis cought 150 there during a mega bucks a few years back.
