I know the 100 MPH suit is great for this is cooler weather but can it be used in warm weather as well ? or do I need to have something a lot lighter? thats easier to store.Any suggestions as to what .

Mark, I just bought some Frogg Toggs. Although they look like their made out of paper they are really very sturdy. I haven't been out on the boat in the rain in them yet but several people I have talked to raved about them. You can either get the jacket with the pants or overalls.

I've had Frogg Toggs for two years now and realy like them. They are light but keep the wind and rain out.

Hey Mark, I bought the BPS HPR Gore-Tex. Not as heavy as the 100MPH or the XPS suit, but with a fleece underneath it's plenty warm for most early spring and late fall trips, and light enough for a summer shower. Parks and Bibs around $100.00 each.

I have the same outfit as Craig mentioned. It wasn't really heavy enough for me once this spring, but does work well the rest of the year. I had to wear it one night last August when we fished in a storm most of the night.

Several in our club have the 'togs', and like them for the warmer times in the year.

I have Frogg Toggs and they're great. If you are interested in them, try Tackle4Less.com. They have a great price on the Pro Angler suit (jacket and bibs), $63.96.

I hear good things about Frogg Toggs. John Bruce still owes me a set! LOL Anyway, I have a Wal-Mart special I use in warm weather. Does the trick, but you will get wet after a whole day. The bottoms were about $10 and the jacket was I think $25??? Black and blue, it works. Now I'll just use it as back up for the client "tough guys" that show up without rain gear.

Never tried the Toggs, but have played with them in the store. They are definitely light.

What I do have is a set of light weight goretex. I bought...let's see....10X brand I think. It's a set I use for hunting. For both purposes in warm weather, they have been great: light, quiet, and not too hot. And I definitely get warm weather here in central FL..................sa

OK Bibs vs. Pants - If your like ME and have NO Shoulders get the PANTS!!! My current pair of Bibs are a PAIN since they slip off my Shoulders all the time. No comments from Tox/Mac/Tex/Rob of the rest of you FAT BOYS!!!!

I knew my girth was good for something.....holdin' up my bibs!! BTW, Rob ain't fat, his slide off because of the silkies.

I've had a set of camo Cabela's brand Gortex parka and jean-cut pants that I bought almost 20 years ago, when Gortex first came out. They are still like new! I wear them all the time in rain and stay absolutely dry! I really like the breathability of Gortex. I bought them a bit large and in colder weather I just layer underneath to keep warm.
