I have a HB998SI combo, software update to 5.700
Questions;
1.) When I set a waypoint does it automatically record the depth of water at that waypoint? If so, why would the depth later show up as 80+ feet when it was only 18' when saved?
2.) Are there any sources for waypoint icons that are more application specific than what is pre-loaded into the standard navionics program that comes pre-loaded from the factory? I mean, I don't really need "phone booths" and "internet cafes", but I could use a "submerged log" icon, or "submerged old roadbed", or "submerged" structure of some kind. I know I *may be* a little anal on this, but these are expensive units and used for fishing.
3.) When does HB plan on releasing the Southeast version of LAKEMASTER? I'm holding off upgrading from the pre-loaded until then, as I feel that there are more/better features included in the LAKEMASTER software.
Thanks! And Happy New Year to everyone!!! Hope everyone stays as happy and healthy as I'm blessed to be for 2012!
