Mike, changing the bulbs every other trip on my waterproof tailights (yeah right) is getting old. I remember you upgraded yours someime back. Do you recall what type you got, brand, storee, extra stuff needed. And are they working good?

Thanks,

Chris

Chris,

If you have the option, go LED. They consume almost no power, are brighter & last a super long time without burning out. I have had no issues with mine at all. I have not changed out my PT185 trailer yet, but have done both the other boat trailers & the racecar trailer; they are all working great. They are so much more visible it is amazing. Oh & they look cool too...

Chris,

I got the low-profile Led trailer kits that BPS offers for $59.99...They were on sale for $49.99 and made by SeaSense.

I did have to drill new mounting holes on the trailer because they did not quite center right using the old holes.

They have been trouble free so far, and brighter, which I feel is safer!

Do it!!...If you go to My Library for Mike L the pics are still there.

Mike
