Hey guys I have a question that maybe you can answer. How long is the warranty on the 9 series boat like my 929? is it five years or lifetime? The reason Iask is that I was waxing baby last night to pretty her up for the rally and I noticed three hairline cracks about 5 inches long right above the Nitro logo on the side. If these are gel coat cracks do you now off hand of they are covered by the warranty. Also if they are not covered is it worth spening the money to get them fixed .I know fiberglass repair is not cheap I just spend over $350 to get a few nicks and scraches fixed

Tom, I seem to remember someone posting about this before. If I recall correctly that is one of the few things not covered by the warranty as it is inevitable. But keep her shinning for the rally. Have you guys decided whether or not you can make it to the Turtle on Saturday?

Tom,...the hull has a lifetime warranty,...but hairline cracks in the clear coat are really not worht the hassle of getting them fixed,.....they'll probably re-appear later on, and quite often they come back worse than the original. I have a few "crows feet" and spider cracks in my cap,...along the radius of the curves by the console and I'm not going to have them fixed just for that reason. If the cracks go down into the hull and they're deffinetely NOT clear coat cracks then go ahead and have them fixed....but if it looks like a "hair" in the clear coat......a very fine crack that looks almost like a scratch,...don't worry about those,....they're caused by stress and flexing of the hull and they're VERY common on any 'glass boat, made by EVERY mfgr,......sounds to me like yours is just that,......so I wouldn't worry about them. You'll probably find more over time...especially when you're really cleaning and waxing...detailing always leads to finding little flaws and cracks....happens all the time!!! Seeya at the rally!! Can't wait!

Mac.

It will be easier for me to tell you at the rally, and show you on a local map. Good luck at Candlewood. I think Jefferies is fishing that, be sure to whoop him good ok? Bring us home a trophy Tom! Nitro's rule

we are just fishing a club tournament maybe 20 guys. what tournement is jim fishing

Oh, sorry never mind. They have a big one on Candlewood every year that he fishes. He normally trash talks about me, but this year, every day we have both guided I have at least doubled the number of fish he has pulled in. He did get a NEW 929 since he tore his 2001 up. It's black and gold. Looks nice, but who in their right mind gets black with dark grey carpet in a bass boat. He won't be going barefoot for sure. I saw a Triton Classic edition like that once. Black carpet. Dealership couln't figure out why nobody wanted such an exclusive model. Duh!!!!!!! Good luck! Make sure you get some Haley hair in there for good luck! Do they let you bring her in the club?

Yeah we stopped by and talked to JIm for a few minuteslast week . Also seen his new 929 > halley has to stay home this weekend . It would be to much of a hassle to bring her

Jim can be a nice guy when he wants. Just NEVER ever, tell him where you pulling fish unless you want to arrive there next time to a small army of boats on your spot! Ever seen that 5 lber he keeps in his bait tanks?
