My Tracker is leaking. I have not punctured the hull and I think it is leaking from the front just below the waterline where the "V" comes together there is like a rivoted cover over the v. What can I do? The boat is only 2 years old. Is it under warranty? I hate to pay that much money for a new boat if it is only going to leak 2 years later. Any help is appreciated.

Get it checked by Tracker now; they are notorious with their hull warranties so get it taken care of while it is in the "unlimited" stage. My guess based on my experiences and at least one other here is that it is a bad weld that cracked or was just not done right. Good luck.

Jeremy - I have the same boat. I have had some issues with the drain plug and have one that works pretty well most of the time and one that leaks all the time. After about three hours with the bad one, I will drain over a gallon of water. If I can get the other one really tight, I don't get a drop after three hours.

I have found that if I carefully spray a TINY bit of WD40 on the good one, it is much easier to tighten up. Don't get it on the rubber surface or it might pop out of the hull when it flexes in the water.

You didn't say how much water you were getting or how you determined where it was getting in, but the drain plug has been my only problem with the boat.

Easy way to check the plug...lift the back lid while on the water.

Hope yours IS the plug;)

Thanks guys. I did check the drain plug and thats not it. I took it to the dealer today. We will see what happens. My dealer is great, but I have been reading nightmare stories about Tracker warranty issues on this very subject. If the hull is leaking from poor workmanship I don't want Tracker to fix it. I don't want the boat if it is leaking from poor craftmanship because my kids go with me alot and I will never have peace of mind. Before I jump to conclusions I will see what my dealer has to say and report back to yall.

I took it to the dealer and he is shippng it to BPS. He said that there are three stress fractures and that is why it is leaking. He also said that in no way is it my fault. So we are waiting on Tracker marine but I appreciate my dealer.
