Prop Suggestions

Ok with the new 929 CDX on the way I would like some input on prop selection for the Optimax 225 XS that is going to be on the back of this bad boy.



I would like one 3 blade for top end speed (still with a decent hole shot)



Then a good 4 blade for control in the rough water rides that come with Lake Erie and St. Clair

OK I need a prop suggestion from Pat. I have a 2005 901 with a 200 optimax. it has a 25 tempest prop from factory. Boat will run at full load 2 people and gear,at 70.2 GPS but only turns 5500 RPM. Any way to get more. I guess I just like SPEED:

I would also recommend a 25 pitch prop on the 225 / 929 setup ... but I prefer the TRO-4 over the Trophy. After running a factory Trophy and then a TRO-4 on my own boat, I much prefer the PowerTech propellers. Just my opinion.



For Tom's 901 - I'd leave the 25 pitch prop on there, and probably just mess with raising the engine a bit.
