Prop for 115 johnson

I am looking at putting a new prop for my 1993 170dc with a johnson 115hp. Want to go S/S as I have 2 allum. props now 19 pitch. Run in the low 40mph @ 5200rpms with a fair to poor hole shot. Anybody have a set up that will inprove what I have?

I would say you are pretty close to the best performance you can get with the boat/motor you have. Going to a SS 19 pitch prop will give you a slightly better holeshot and possibly a 1 to 2 mph increase in top speed. This is attributed to the better efficiency of the SS prop.
