Hello all. Decided to replace my primer bulb and the hose that goes with it. All the boat dealer had was 3/8" hose with the primer bulb. I noticed that the 3/8" hose was a larger diameter than the OEM line I'm replacing, I aked about this, the dealer stated it should not be a problem as the hose clamp should seal it OK. I notice when I slide the 3/8" hose over the nipple for the gas tank there is no resistance, so will the hose clamp really make it air tight or was the dealer blowing smoke because he was out of the same diameter hose as the OEM?
