Possible to build a simple "shocker"

I had a previous post about a 10 acre pond I have been fishing that has too many small fish in it. Before I go and start taking a bunch of the smaller bass and bluegill out I would really like to know what is in the pond for sure. How can I make or what can I use to shock the water to see what really is in there? Is it complicated or is there a simple way to do it? Thanks guys.

You might try your local DNR? Not sure if they would do a private pond or not?

You could just drain the pond and find out what used to be in it . Perhaps Carlos could sneak you a grenade or two. Fishing Texas-style.
