Polishing aluminum hull

I am looking for suggestions on how to clean/polish the aluminum hull on my 2003 P/T 175. What materials and/or methods have you found that work?

Tee will jump in here.....the reflection from his hull is used by Nasa to guide the shuttles when they land.
