Finally got some pics of my old beater. She doesn't shine much anymore. But she fishes like a new one. And she has been paid for since the day I brought her home. Now after fifty years of bass fishing, I just need to figure out how to catch them.

Nice boat, I have a old 1995 Nitro 170dc. I bought a cordless buffer and 3M Gelcoat medium cutting compound. It made my boat look like new. Next is replacing the seats like you did.

Nice , I have a 1997 that needs some TLC , I will try this.

Thank you all for the compliments. She's a '94 btw.
Shine would be nice, but I don't think it would help me catch more fish. The best part about an old Nitro is, all I have to do is back up to it, unplug it and it's good to go.
Not to say that things don't fail at thirty years old. The power trim switch on the motor failed and the motor stuck on (overnight).
$200 later and it was back in the water. I upgraded it to the two wire with relays that replaced the solenoids.
I guess forty years as an automotive technician has it's advantages.
I STILL CAN'T CATCH FISH.
hey Bobsizz, nice ride. The seats are "Deckmate", not the highest quality seats on the market, but for the price. They look great.
