I have a friend who is importing a Champ into Canada, and he needs a letter of recall for the trailer. It is the dri-dock model, and he is being told they are out of business...do you know if that is true , and if they were purchase by another company or anything?

Could he mean a Letter of Origin??

The letter of recall, states that there has been no vehicle recall or that if there was a recall, the vehicle had been recalled and the issue resolved.

When I brought my Champ into Canada from C&O marine, the company that had made the trailer had been sold to EZ loader, so I was able to get the letter form them. Jaret( my friend) is bringing his Champ from N Carolina and has boufght the boat privatley ..so i think he has a problem.....
