I AM TRYING TO BUY A NEW PARTY BARGE 21 FOOT WITH A 60HP MERC BIG FOOT 4 STROKE. THERE IS A BAD VIBRATION FROM 1800 TO 2400 RPM. THE DEALER HAS CHANGED PROP & MOTOR BUT VIBRATION STILL EXISTS. TRACKER SAY IT'S THE NATURE OF BEAST. DOES ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM?

I AM LOOKING TO BUY THIS BOAT. TRACKER CLAIMS THE REASON FOR VIBRATION IS THE 4 STROKE MOTOR YET I HAVE NO SUCH PROBLEM WITH THE 4 STROKE ON MY TARGA

Jim,

it may be the motor mounts.My had a bad vibration when the upper mounts went bad.Grab the motor from behind and try to turn it back and forth.There should be a little flex in the rubber mounts,but not much.
