ouch, my #**# KEEL ! ANY HELP?

I was in hot persuit of bucket mouth hogs on the lake and hit a hidden rock! Now I have a keel with no tip and a SLIGHT hook! Any suggestions?

The word keel has me confused. The keel is on the bottom of the boat and the skig is on the bottom of the engine. I am assuming you lost a chunk of the skig. If it is not too bad you might be able to adjust the trim tab to correct the slight ill handling. Make the adjustments in small increments until it feels normal (see your engine handbook). As far as repairing the skig, take it to a local mechanic and see if can be repaired or needs replacing.
