Optimax Oil

I've been running the Quicksilver Premium Plus TC-W3 brand in my 135 HP Optimax. I rencently purchased a gallon of the Mercury Optimax DFI oil and was concerned about mixig two different type oils in the reservoir. Any info would be apprectiated. Thanks

Even though they are "miscible", it is a good idea to drain the old stuff as much as possible before introducing the new...

As a matter of fact, they are now recommending DFI oil in the efi's and carbed motors because of the extended idle times associated with the new electronics (side scan etc.).
