Last night I was finishing winterizing my boat and I had trouble with a wing nut on my cranking battery. I had to get a pair of plyers to try to remove it. After about 5 real hard turns, I realized I was removing the enitre post. I had to get out the hacksaw and now the battery is history. Sometimes you just feel better when you tell someone. Well..if it was that loose anyway,..then it would've leaked and probably not held a charge, so you would've had to replace it anyway....better to find out now than in the spring!!
