Last night I was finishing winterizing my boat and I had trouble with a wing nut on my cranking battery. I had to get a pair of plyers to try to remove it. After about 5 real hard turns, I realized I was removing the enitre post. I had to get out the hacksaw and now the battery is history. Sometimes you just feel better when you tell someone. Thanks for listening. :(

Well..if it was that loose anyway,..then it would've leaked and probably not held a charge, so you would've had to replace it anyway....better to find out now than in the spring!!
