well my brand new 3 bank onboard charger didn't last as long as i had to wait for it to get here(backordered for 10 days) after the 2nd time i used it i lost 1 bank.this story has a happy ending though. i tried to call guest and it was busy every time i tried. according to BPS anything electrical has to go through manufacturer. i called BPS anyway and they said that because it is within 30 days.they will replace it. it was hooked up properly. and with plenty of clearence, according to the installation manual. rob,i used your idea on where to mount it.behind the pass seat. when in use i take out the compartment behind the pass seat. it seems like the only place there is enough room to mount it anyway.i'm glad i bought it from BPS. they have always been very good to me. i had 1 other little problem before and they were very good to me that time also. thanks stan

Glad to hear it Stan. Never had a problem with mine, knock on wood! I only take my compartment out when it's excessively warm while charging. I usually charge at night so it's cooler anyhow. I do leave the passenger side bilge door open though to ventilate and dry the compartment from any water I took on. BPS rocks!
