Non Mercury Oil

Bought a gal of Pennzoil Marine XLF Synthetic Blend 2-Cycle TC-W3 from Walmart for half the price of Quicksilver but not sure if I should use it. What do ya think?

It won't void the warranty, and should burn just as clean as any Merc synthetic blend. I have been using Quaker State pure synthetic oil in my older OMC for years and iked how well it burned (clean).

My 02 Merc has never seen anything but Pennzoil marine full synthetic oil. Works for me.

Been using that exact stuff (Pennzoil XLF) for several years. No worries. It should work fine.

Been using it since 2001 in my Mercury Big Mo. Only issue I have is that my Big Mo starts every time and runs all day with no issues.
