Anyone using trailer bunk slide pads on their trailers? I see recommended usage is upto 1500 lb on fiberglass boats. Mine is an 882 dual console and I am guessing that may be over 1500 lb. Mine is very hard to load and eats up carpeting on trailer bunks. Bunks are not adjustable since are welded in. If I put trailer in deeper, hull ribs will not line up with bunks correctly. Appreciate any suggestions thanks.

For many years now I have used only a can of Silicone spray on the bunks.
Every-other time, before I load the boat, I spray the bunk carpet with a shot of this spray.
Cost is a couple of $$ a year. No hassle either.
Watch out on launch. Boat comes off like greased lightning as well. Great for us Old Guys.
