Nitro 700LX Steeing cable replacement?

My steering on my Nitro 700LX was working fine, (in garage for winter) went out to move motor over to get be and its locked up tight? won't budge, I took end off motor to see if I could move the motor by itself, yes no problem. it is a gear driven bar at steeing shaft, is this an easy replacement,cost? ideas? I feel your pain. Growing up the boats we had all had the cable steering. When I bought my 2008 Z6 the Bass Pro shop accedently installed the hydraulic steering system. After driving the boat for the first time I will never have another boat without it. there's no pulling to the right from engine torque and the runs straight as a arrow in rough water. I highly recommend it. I'm not sure what it would cost to get the system since I got mine for free.

If the helm unit is still okay replacing the cable is about a 3 on a 1-10 shadetree scale. The link below will get you started:
