I found a place who makes custom straps for anyone out there who reached the end of Google looking for a winch strap with a double hook (I think it's called a "safety loop").

These good folks have a heavier strap on down the product list but the thickness of the material is way too thick at .08 inches for the Dutton-Lainson 1402A Winch, FYI.
