I saw a new boat not the Z8 but I just don't like the size of those rod compartments compare to my 591.
On the Z8 they look small.
Look at that plastic bag it has about 2-3 inches left to hit the top lead.

I think that is a storage box. Usually the rod box is on the left...at least it is on my 929. I also do not see any rod rack in that compartment which would lend me to believe it is for storage.
