JAKARTA, Indonesia - Indonesian villagers claim to have captured a python that is almost 49 feet long and weighs nearly 990 pounds, a local official said.



If confirmed, it would be the largest snake ever kept in captivity.



Hundreds of people have flocked to see the snake at a primitive zoo in Curugsewu village on the country

WOW, i've seen 5-6ft snakes in my back yard (most via a picture window, the way I LIKE IT), but can you imagine fishing in that area and seeing that thing eat an aligator!!

I saw that on the news today....complete with video...it's deffinitely real and one helluva big snake!! It eats 3-4 dogs/month??...man,..that's a good way to make Hussein talk!! Don't feed that badboy for about 3 months and then throw Saddam in the cage with it!! "Got'ne thing ya'll wana say now Saddam??"...LOL...
