new trolling motor questions

I know going into this that people feel the same way about Motorguide vs Minn Kota as they do about GM vs Ford. So lets leave that part alone. My MG has...er..had been good to me.



What I'm looking for is experience with the Motorguide 360 rubber mount vs the 20.8 gator mount. I've read that the 360 slips, and lets the head turn and the shaft slides down if you have the motor set for shallow running. Any useful comments? :lol:

I've never heard of MG's slipping, but I do know that my MK AllTerrain does.





BTW..... Minn Kota still rules !!!!!!!
